Earthquake in Indonesia ,Chennai,Bangalore India.Tsunami Alert.

Tremors have been felt in India.(In the eastern coast)

In Chennai I felt it aroud 2.30 pm.

Reports have come from  Calcutta and Gwahati as well. There are also reports of Tremors in Bangalore and people had rushed out of their Homes to the streets.

Southern cities of Tamil Nadu have felt. They include Madurai,Cuddalore. Reports are coming in from other areas of Tamil Nadu as well.

As of now, the raw information is thata n earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter Scale struck Indonesia(off the Northern area of Sumatra) As a precautionary measure, Anadaman and Nicobar are is being evacuated to avoid being hit by Tsunami.
