After a long delay finally Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) announced that it will launch much awaited 3G mobile and data services in Maharashtra and Goa telecom circle in the second week of June.

Mr.V K Mahendra, General Manager, BSNL Maharashtra circle said “There would be no postponement this time. The testing of the 3G/UMTS instrument is going on and we are sure that we can launch the 3G service in Maharashtra circle by June.”

He also quoted “BSNL 3G Services will provide High quality multimedia features like video calling, high speed Internet browsing through Mobile phone/Data Cards and also subscribers can enjoy Live Mobile TV, Video SMS, & VoIP services on our 3G Compatible mobile phone. One can call in the US and see the other person on mobile screen while talking to him/her.
