MTNL to Offer 3G Roaming to other Operators

MTNL has invited bids from operators who did not get 3G spectrum in Delhi & Mumbai, in the recent 3G auction

 Airtel, Vodafone and Rcom won 3G spectrum in Delhi & Mumbai in the recent 3G auction

MTNL was alloted 3G spectrum well in advance on the condition that it would have to match the No.1 bidder in auction.

As far as for MTNL Users, Roaming in other circles [except mumbai & delhi] need not worry, bcause it has a agreement with BSNL who has 3G spectrum in all circels except delhi & mumbai

MTNL has kept has set a minimum of Rs 70 crore per operator per circle . Of which Rs 50 crore would be fixed charges annually and Rs 20 crore would be for using the network for which the operator would be offered discount.
