Reliance Mobile Launches Roaming Facility On Prepaid for North East

Reliance Communications (RCom), India’s single largest Dual Technology (GSM and CDMA) telecom giant today announced that it has launched Roaming services for its more than 2 million prepaid GSM subscribers in the entire North East region.

Reliance Mobile’s prepaid subscribers in North East region including Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Nagaland now can roam everywhere with in the north eastern states with their existing prepaid SIM card.

The call charges will be as low as 1p/sec or 50p/min for Incoming and Outgoing calls made by subscribers while roaming in other state/circle with in North East. Speaking on the launch of Prepaid Roaming services for North East, Khurshed Ahmed, Sr Executive vice President, Reliance Communication Ltd (RCom) said “As part of our endeavour to improve customer service, we are happy to extend the roaming facility to all our prepaid customers in the north-east and I am sure this will ensure hassle free communications while traveling between Assam and other north-eastern states.”
